Can I write on merinews? |

Yes you can. Anybody who is above 18 is allowed to submit his/her contribution(s) on merinews.com. You only need to make a simple registration to submit your articles on merinews. |

Will all my articles get posted on merinews.com? |
| |
All the articles submitted to merinews pass through the editorial board for copy editing, profanity and authenticity check. Depending on the quality of the article, it gets posted either on merinews.com or the clog (citizens’ log) section of merinews.
Merinews does not carry articles copied/lifted from other websites or articles written by somebody else. Submitted piece should be an original work of the contributor. |

What happens after I submit my articles on merinews? |
| |
Every submission on merinews will pass through the editorial board before it gets posted on merinews.com. The articles based on their comments and views move up to the viewers’ choice section and further to the Hall of Fame. Articles that do not move up to the viewers’ choice section are also archived on merinews.com and can be searched by its content or contributor. |

How are my articles selected for Merinews Picks? |

Merinews Picks is the editorial boards’ choice for the day. Every article before being uploaded gets scanned by the members of the jury that decides on its selection for merinews picks. Any article which is picked for merinews picks is awarded under the guidelines of merinews program. |

How are my articles selected for merinews viewers’ choice? |

The viewers choice section is a reflection of the most viewed and most commented articles on the website in a definite period. It is an automated selection based on a complex formula involving the number of views and comments. |

As of now there are no direct pay for content program in merinews but we believe in rewarding quality content. In order to acknowledge the same, merinews has launched program for its contributors. |
